Nora and lilly

Nora and Lilly are my pen pals who live in AZ. Lilly is the nine and she is the oldest. Nora is 8 and is the second oldest. They have one brother named Andrew and 3 little sisters named Holly, Roy, and Evelyn. There are 6 of them total. Me and Lily have been writing each other for about three or four months. Me and Nora have been writing each other for a few weeks. We just started talking to each other on the phone today. Lilly and Nora are my best friends. I wish they lived here in North Carolina so that way we could visit each other. Both of them are really really nice and sweet. I'm very lucky to have such good pen pals!

Today

Today we had to get up at 7:00 cause we had to drop mom off at her class. First Ness, Dewy,Annuh, Aryie, and I went to Krispy Kreme (doughnuts). We had one free doughnut per person cards that we had to use up so we went in line every few minutes. We all thought that was so dumb. Krispy Kreme said we had to walk out the door and come back in just to use another coupon. We got Glazed,Triple Chocolate, Custard filled, and Cream filling doughnuts. Afterwards, we went to pick our mom up it took awhile to find mom. Then we went to Harris Teeter to pick up stuff. We were all very happy to come home!

Abraham Lincoln Fun Facts

Abraham's mom died of Milk sickness also known as tremetol vomiting, or in animals as trembles, is characterized by trembling, vomiting, and severe intestinal pain that affects individuals who eat dairy products or meat from a cow that has fed on white snakeroot. Although highly rare today, milk sickness claimed thousands of lives in the early 19th century. A notable victim was Abraham Lincoln's mother, Nancy Hanks Lincoln.

His wife was called Mary Todd Lincoln, who was brought up into a very wealthy family. Mary’s parents disagreed with her marrying Abraham because he had a poor background. Abraham had four children, Robert Todd Lincoln, Edward Lincoln, Willie Lincoln, Tad Lincoln. Only Robert Todd Lincoln survived into adulthood!!  He was the tallest U.S president at 6ft 4 inches!! He was the first U.S. to have a beard!!
One time he walk in the cold for three miles to give a guy penny!!  (cause he charged him a penny too many!!)
